Two Showcase Homes, Two Unique Challenges

Linen + Lining was selected to design and install custom window treatments for both the 2024 and 2025 CHEO Dream Homes.

Each home brought its own scale, architectural details, and design direction, requiring a tailored approach to both function and aesthetics.

2025 — The Sterling

A project focused on custom details and craftsmanship.

  • Full home drapery and blinds

  • Custom four-poster bed drapery with welded corner brackets

  • One of the widest single-panel draperies completed (80 feet wide)

  • Custom wall-to-wall upholstered headboard

2024 — The Oasis

This home pushed both scale and fabrication to a different level.
  • Full home drapery and blinds
  • Drapery spanning four stories
  • 436” length using 25 yards of sheer and 78 yards of fabric
  • One of the longest installations completed

Designed to Work with the Architecture

In a home with dramatic ceiling height, expansive windows, and strong architectural lines, the window treatments had to feel intentional at every scale.

For this project, the drapery was designed to enhance the home’s natural light while bringing softness and warmth to the larger spaces. The result is a finished look that feels calm, elevated, and connected to the rest of the interior palette.

The right window treatments don’t just complete a room. They change how it feels to be in it.
